AssistJet terms

Last updated October 28, 2026.

These AssistJet terms add to the Substrio platform terms for the use of AssistJet, the agent, inbox, and automations service of Substrio. Words defined in the platform terms mean the same here. Where these terms and the platform terms differ on AssistJet, these terms govern; everywhere else, the platform terms govern.

1. What these terms cover

With AssistJet, you add an AI agent, an inbox, and automations to your apps. These terms cover every agent, thread, and automation in your apps, whichever way a thread arrives.

2. Controller and processor

Conversations, tickets, and the records your agent reads are customer data. For the personal data in them, you are the controller and Substrio is your processor. We store and process it only to run the service for you.

You are responsible for:

  1. telling your end users that they are talking to an AI agent, where the law requires it;
  2. the privacy notice you show them, and the lawful basis for what your agent collects;
  3. answering their requests to access, correct, export, or delete their data.

3. What your agent does

You choose what your agent may reach and what it may do without your approval. You are responsible for those choices and for the actions your agent takes within them. We recommend that you stay in the approval step for any action that moves money, deletes data, or cannot be undone.

AI output can be wrong. You review your agent's answers and automations before you rely on them, and you do not use AssistJet as the only basis for a decision with legal or similarly significant effects on an individual.

4. Model providers

To answer, we send the text of a turn to the model provider that serves it. Providers act as our sub-processors, as the platform terms describe. We do not allow a provider to train on your customer data.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use AssistJet to deceive people about who they are talking to, to send unsolicited mail, or to give regulated advice without the licensing the law requires. Email sent through AssistJet is also subject to the SendJet terms.

6. Plans and usage

Plans count turns and runs, and model use is charged as credits after each answer. Stored threads count toward the usage of the app that holds them.

7. Retention and deletion

Threads stay in your app's database until you delete them or your retention setting removes them. When you delete an app, its threads are deleted with it, as the platform terms describe.
